Change Table/Dresser - woo hoo

The nursery is reallllllly coming along now. We went to the Baby Furniture Outlet/Gallery (whatever it's called) to order the dresser/change table for Lil Bean. We figured since we have 10 weeks until my due date that we really should get it ordered.

Well...wouldn't you know it - luck was on our side! They had the dresser/change table in stock - in the colour that we want!! We just need to order the hutch piece. The good news is that we don't need the hutch right away because we're using the dresser as a change table but at the same time, we don't want to not order it and then down the road regret it because it looks so nice when it's all put together. Plus, you never know when they'll discontinue stuff, etc. They are going to call me on Monday to let me know when the hutch will be in.

So here's what Grandad and Grandma bought today...HA HA HA HA HA I really do crack myself up sometimes!!! :) (I know they're going to read this so that's why I added that)

Ron putting the knobs on the drawers (it came assembled and it's REAL wood - how nice)
TA DA - the finished product. Sorry for the crappy picture - I just took it a few minutes ago and it's almost 10:30 at night so the lighting isn't the best.

I went to Wal Mart tonight to buy the change table pad and cover and while I was there, I may have purchased a couple of little sleepers. They were just too cute (and cheap) to pass up...

Tigger - of course :) The Tigger on the sleeper is soooo soft - and then his face is on the feet of the sleeper, too - oh...and get this - it has my favourite thing on the bottom of the feet - that sticky stuff so the kid won't slip and fall. DOH - it's a 3 month old outfit - they won't be moving a heck of a lot at that point! ha ha Anyway, then the green outfit came all together - 5 pieces for $16 - you can't go wrong. And I LOVE the froggie hat. The sleeper has a little frog on the front and it says 'hop hop...' (check out the feet in the sleeper, too - little frog face), then the bib and onesie just have little frogs on them - oh and then there are a pair of green pants, too.

We were in Clinton last night for Sammy's Suprise 60th Birthday party. Beforehand, I was hanging out with Andrea because we had to decorate the hall. Anyway, she gave these to me for the nursery - she said when she saw them she thought of me. Too cute...I can't wait to put them up!

I think that's all I have to post for now. It's getting late and I must go try and get some sleep (I more or less get up every 2 hours to visit the Little Girls Room - UGH)

G'Night!
