I haven't been feeling well the last little while and the cold/flu/whatever it is has finally got the best of me. I figured I would just post some pictures from the last week and a bit...
This is a new game Rachel has made up - she chases Natalie around the house. Sometimes she goes overboard and pretends Natalie is a horse. Oh dear...
Uh oh - is someone stuck under the kitchen table?
Rachel got a little camera in a box of Rice Krispies cereal awhile ago (months ago) and every once in awhile she pulls it out and pretends to take pictures. We get such a kick out of it because she puts the camera right up to her face, then looks out to the side and says 'click'. She takes a lot of pictures of Natalie (although there is no film in the camera). It keeps her entertained!
Clark Griswold (aka Ron) has been busy in the backyard. Rachel gets very excited each evening as she turns the lights on. Ron has the icicle lights from my old house along part of the fence and then he has some lights going from our maple tree, across the playground equipment over to the tulip tree.
Rachel's new favourite past time is to look through her first photo album. She loves to name all the "visitors" who came to see her when she was first born.
Mmmmm...kleenex!
The latest weekly cow picture. They're almost the same size now!
Smart little cookie we have on our hands - drinking and crawling at the same time! It's quite funny to watch because she'll crawl with it hanging out of her mouth and then she sits up and tilts her head back to get some water.
We bought Natalie a chair similiar to Rachel's this weekend. Ron plunked her on the chair while it was still in the box and she couldn't have been happier!
Rachel with her camera again - taking Natalie's picture
So happy to have her own chair!
More pictures...gotta love Rachel peeking :)
The girls being silly
Yay - they both fit in the new chair!
Sisterly love! It's moments like this where I remember why we had them so close in age. Makes it completely worth while!
Rachel opening a present from Santa. We were supposed to go to Ron's Mom's side of the family Christmas dinner yesterday but the weather here was just horrible. On top of that, Rachel wasn't feeling herself and neither was I. Santa was nice enough to still give the girls their presents :)
wow - a digital camera from Santa! YAY!
