Friday was a snow day (not quite the storm they predicted but it was still bad enough Ron came home from work at 11 in the morning) so we thought we would stay nice & warm in the house & do some crafts.
First we painted some decorations:
Notice Rachel is using her right hand in the picture above and then her left hand in the picture below. I think she will be a 'lefty' but she still uses her right hand quite often.

After painting some decorations Rachel wanted to draw/colour...
Then it was time to colour with her 'Water Wow'. What a great invention - the pens hold water and as the child guides the pen along the special pages, the picture turns to colour. You always colour within the lines! lol
Later on, Rachel took the snowmen for a walk. "Mommy, Natalie, Rachel" are in the cart and "Daddy" is looking on...

Not sure what they were lining up for lol
Saturday was another craft day. Rachel was making a Christmas card for our neighbour. Natalie & Daddy were just hanging out
Think she has enough stickers out? Sheesh!
Natalie is at the stage where she loves to walk around while holding on to someone's hands. "Walkers" are not sold in Canada but we are borrowing one from a friend and Natalie LOVES it. She's getting very good with it now and she flies through my parents house in it.
Rachel, with severe bed head (just woke up from her nap before we started this craft session), helping Daddy make the reindeer faces.
Finishing touches
Pretty cute, eh? The antlers are Natalie's handprints and then the face is her footprint.
Natalie's first 'piggies'. Very hard to see, especially in this picture, but at least now I have it documented when her hair was long enough for them. At this age we were putting Rachel's hair up in a 'fountain' on top but Natalie's hair isn't long enough up there yet. She has all the length in the back.
