This is the first time Rachel has fallen asleep on the couch (well, other than when she was a little baby). Ron & I have always thought pictures of kids asleep in their high chairs, on the couch, or other places were really cute and it wasn't until recently that we became part of that club. Our girls always only slept in a bed or their car seat.
I think all the fresh air at the cottage knocked Rachel right out. This picture was taken on Monday afternoon around 4:30. She slept for an hour and then I woke her up because I wanted to make sure she would still be ready for bed at 8 that night.
We went shopping yesterday - oh my - what an ordeal that was! Normally Rachel is an angel while we're shopping but yesterday she was a little devil. She wanted to hide in the clothes racks, run away from me, not hold my hand, etc. However, we did manage to get most of what we needed - with the most important being a snow suit for Rachel. We still need boots but I think I'll do that tonight on my own :)
We're off to Costco now - gonna break the bank for sure. Not sure what it is about that store but we always manage to buy more than we originally anticipate. I'm going to try to stick to 'the list' if I can though :)
