I was using my Space Bags yesterday to pack up the 'unisex' baby clothes and I came across a little sleeper Rachel wore in the hospital. Oh my goodness, it is sooooo small! I can't believe she was actually that little at one point. Then when I looked at her pig pictures today, you can really see how she has grown. Here is the first pig picture we ever took (she's not even a week old here)
And here is the one from yesterday...

Ron & Rachel were having fun hanging out on the couch last night. Ron was busy doing a Sudoku puzzle (good thing *I* got the book for Christmas, eh?) and Rachel was checking out her 'counting' book that my old boss got her. After she was done playing with her book she decided to squirm all over the couch and ended up leaning up against Ron's arm. It was too cute.
Tomorrow is Ron's 35th birthday. To celebrate the occassion, we went out for dinner tonight with Mom & Sam & my parents. Rachel was great at the restaurant...she slept through most of dinner and when she wasn't sleeping, she was quite content to sit in her carseat.
He got a beautiful homemade planter from his Mom & Sam. It matches the other one Sam made us a couple of years ago for Christmas. Rachel bought Daddy a picture frame that says 'Best Dad' (and some other things but I don't remember what they say right now) & I bought him Lego. Yes, that's right, Lego. He's 35 and LOVES LEGO! He will be opening the gift from my parents tomorrow when we go there for dinner.
Good thing we didn't have 35 candles on the cake!!! I don't remember singing Happy Birthday to Ron though - but we must have. I mean, what birthday isn't complete until you sing Happy Birthday?!?!
It's hard to believe another weekend is over. *sigh* However, on the bright side, I'm looking forward to my facial tomorrow. I'm going to watch Jill do gymnastics at noon & then my facial is at 2. Mom will be taking Rach for the afternoon. Ohhhhh, the things I could get done :) Instead I'll pamper myself with a nice facial :)

Rachel! That's another thing we share in common - a daddy with a March birthday! That's right, my dad's birthday is on Monday. I'm soooo excited, I got him a mouse pad with a picture of me on it, I think he'll like it! He can use it at work to always remember me during the day. But shhhh! Don't tell him, he doesn't know! I hope that you had fun with your family at the restaurant for your dad's birthday, it sounds like you were great. Wish your dad a happy birthday from me and my Mom! :)
Love Calder
