The four of us were outside bright & early on Saturday morning. Ron worked on the railing for the deck while I entertained the girls.
I'm pretty sure Rachel would swing all day if possible.
You're not really surprised to see what Natalie did all morning, are you?
Hard at work? Not really...he was just figuring things out.
This is the only section of the railing that is done so far...and has been for a week lol
I wanted to see if I could clean these marks off the slide. I assume they are marks from running shoes from when we had Rachel's birthday party and the kids were playing on it or maybe even from Natalie's baptism because the kids were outside that day as well. Doesn't matter when they appeared - I just wanted to see if Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would get rid of them.

Yup - Mr. Clean came to the rescue. Here's the after shot....
Rachel wanted to help Daddy. She really just liked to 'pet' the wood. Thank goodness she didn't get a sliver!
I thought she looked so cute walking around with her hands in her pockets.
...found out later that her pockets were full of 'beauty stones' from around the base of our shed.
After lunch, Natalie was asleep again. Please note the book in the background is not a hint of any sort. We actually bought that book for Rachel when I found out I was pregnant with Natalie. That's how we told my Mom & Dad the news - we asked them to read Rachel her bedtime story. To this day, it's one of Rachel's favourite books.

That deck looks like lots of hard work - lucky you had a little helper to pat the wood!
