I must admit that it's been fun having a secret for the past 3 months but it's finally time to share our exciting news!
I had a meeting with my staff this morning and I mentioned 'summer holidays' and that the vacation calendar was ready for them at any time - then I said 'And just so you know, I'll be leaving at the end of August.' The look on their faces was PRICELESS. Then I added 'But I'll be back in a year' and I smiled. A few caught on right away and then the rest of the group caught on as well. Everyone is excited for us - it just seems to make this more "real" now.
Next on my list is to send an email to our extended family (since Ron FINALLY told his brothers the news on Friday night). I think I may do that after my nap today! :)
All in all, it was a fun day - although I will admit that I didn't get much work done since I was talking a lot about the new baby! Oh well - there is always tomorrow!

I see that you're a bit lacking in Comments so I thought I'd leave one for you!!
Our one and only special son was born on August 30th - you never know, it maybe the same day for you! He's now 14 and nearly 6ft tall! The years will pass really quickly, just enjoy the time together.
